BOXMAKING LIVE, SUN 29NOV20, 10.00am.After fitting and gluing the desktop box components last week, Col’s next task is to sand back the overlapping joints, then separate the lid from the top of the frame. The window dressing for this box is the internal sleeves to nest the lid, and a false floor for the baize. Oh! …and some router work to put some details on the outside of the box.
For the finale, Col will demonstrate and explain the process of sanding the box…how to start and how to finish!
